- The first is an update to Windows Azure PowerShell cmdlets showing a date of 5/12/2014 which should bring you up to version 0.8.2 (type (Get-Module Azure).Version from a Powershell prompt to get the version you are running) which includes support for some of the newer features announced at TechEd. One important thing, if you have pinned the PowerShell command line you will need to remove it and re-pin it or you will get errors at startup. You can install it via the Web Platform Installer.
- The second is Visual Studio Update 2 which includes Universal Windows apps and the Microsoft Azure 2.3 SDK. You can read more details about what is in it on the Visual Studio site.
- The last, but certainly not least is the Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio - May Update which was previewed during the SharePont14 Conference. The additional functionality and tooling is very helpful. You can install it via the Web Platform Installer.
So, my system is chugging away at the updates, see you when I get more cycles.
